Participation in the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences

Vladislav Yaroshevsky, Director of the “Biotechnika” ITI of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, participated in a meeting of the Presidium Bureau of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine to discuss the pressing issue of “Developing Balanced Farming Systems in Ukraine’s Steppe Region in the Context of Climate Change.”

On July 15, 2026, Vladislav Yaroshevsky, Director of the “Biotechnika” Institute of Agricultural Research under the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS), participated in a meeting of the Presidium Bureau of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine to discuss the pressing issue of “Developing Balanced Farming Systems in Ukraine’s Steppe Region under Climate Change.” A presentation on this topic was delivered by Anatoliy Tomnytskyi, Deputy Director for Scientific and Production Work at the NAAS Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture. The speaker outlined the current state of the issue in Ukraine, particularly in the Steppe region, as well as the contribution made by the NAAS Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture toward addressing this problem.

Leading scientists from the NAAS, representatives of government agencies, and the FAO participated in the discussion. Vladislav Yaroshevsky, Director of the NAAS “Biotechnika” Institute of Technology, also participated in the discussion. He expressed his support for the institution and noted the significant contribution of its scientists to addressing challenges related to adapting agricultural production to the effects of climate change in Ukraine, particularly in the Steppe region.
