International Field Day: “Plant Varieties: From Classics to Exotics”

On June 3, 2026, leading researchers from the ITI “Biotechnika” of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences participated in the International Field Day “Crop Resources: From Classics to Exotics,” organized by the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetics and the National Center for Seed Science and Variety Research of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences on the institute’s premises in Odessa.

International Field Day: “Plant Varieties: From Classics to Exotics”

On June 3, 2026, leading researchers from the “Biotechnika” Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS) participated in the International Field Day “Plant Variety Resources: From Classics to Exotics,” organized by the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetics and the National Center for Seed Science and Variety Research of the NAAS at the institute’s premises in Odesa. The event showcased cutting-edge developments from NAAS research institutions and other enterprises in the fields of crop breeding and genetics, the production and use of plant protection and nutrition products, the application of drones in agriculture, and more. Scientific developments from the NAAS ITI “Biotechnika” were presented in the form of microbial preparations for protecting plants from diseases and pests, specifically biofungicides and bioinsecticides based on monocultures, as well as complex preparations with insecticidal-fungicidal, fungicidal, and growth-stimulating effects.
