Research at the Center for Shared Use of Scientific Equipment at ONU On July 10, 2026, leading scientists from the “Biotechnika” Institute of Engineering and Technology of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS), together with colleagues from the I. I. Mechnikov Odessa National University, conducted experimental research on biological products for protecting plants against pathogens using state-of-the-art scientific equipment at the ONU Center for Shared Use of Scientific Equipment https://onu.edu.ua/uk/science/nauchdosl/research_unit/ckkno. As part of the study, culture fluids of biological products containing various concentrations of Bacillus subtilis bacteria were analyzed. The analysis was performed using spectrophotometry, which provided accurate data on the physicochemical characteristics of the samples under study and allowed for an assessment of their specific properties. The results obtained represent an important step in the development of modern biological plant protection products and will serve as the basis for further scientific research. The experimental data are currently being analyzed, and the study results will be presented in scientific publications in the near future. The joint work of scientists from the “Biotechnika” Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS) and the I. I. Mechnikov Odessa National University once again confirms the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the use of modern research infrastructure for the development of domestic science and the creation of innovative biotechnological solutions.
